I'm knocking off early for a date lunch with the wife.  The local Hy-Vee grocery store has a second floor restaurant with a shopper view of the store from a few tables.  Weather is supposed to suck so it seems like a good reason to try it.  Wahl burgers are there I think but I won't partake........

Silly as it may sound that was a fun lunch people watching.  And they had Jai Alai on tap.  Had one each and split another to sit, talk and watch............

I dislike people. Why would I want to look at them in my free time?

So much this. The wife likes to "people watch." You know how a dog runs to the door when someone knocks?  That's how she runs to the window if she senses a hominid lurching along the sidewalk that doeth brush mine estate.

I mean i'll look if there's that particular bouncy cadence in the chest area, but otherwise it's the same as gawking at the meat aisle in the supermarket.

S'what I'm talking about! A 10 minute walk though Target near campus puts a spring in your pants... er, step, whatever

May I suggest the Adams Morgan neighborhood in DC when it’s 85 degrees out? There were a couple of times the W/G said “damn” out loud.
