He's definitely drama. But it's not like he knelt for the national anthem.

He wanted out of Pitt because they don’t like to guarantee more than 1 season Oakland gave him the money and he kept it up.

Which is a smart move, especially when dealing with prima donnas like AB.

If he's on the Raider's roster for the first game he is guaranteed $30 million regardless of whether he plays or not.... not a smart move when dealing with a known locker room cancer.

What’s going to happen if he doesn’t get 10 targets per game?

I like how the NFL is becoming more like pro wresting to try and get viewers. I wonder how many of these behavioral episodes are staged.

He was fined for missing a practice and a walk through. He posted the letter on Instagram with some weird statement. Mayock wasn’t happy as that stuff should stay in house and they got in an argument where Brown lost it.
He meant it racially.

And the swastika is a Buddhist holy symbol. Your point is?

Are you really thinking that he wasn't calling him a cracker because of his race?   I doubt Brown would call a black man a cracker.

God help me, I do so love trolling you guys.  It's almost too easy, but damn if it isn't fun.

Um, a number of "crackers" were people of color.  A cracker was a cattle herder who cracked a whip to move the animals.

I am going to reject the notion that Antonio Brown was call Mike  Mayock whip cracking cattle herder. I would bet donuts to dollars that AB is completely unaware of an alternate definition or the etymology of the term.

Gruden is calling the shots in Oakland. Mark Davis has a man crush on Gruden, he would nit have the stones to overrule The Anointed Chucky.

Not even in the same ballpark IMO.

I've been called cracker....By Black men I work with.......It's what slave masters were called that whipped their slaves.........It's not a good term......

The "N" word not a good term.....

Same IMO...........

:frank:

Both offensive terms......

Come down here in the Redneck part of the south.......

Shit goes on daily as it has for as long as they started to import slaves.......

That's the reality of living here......

:frank:

And by the way......Atlanta and other civilized parts of the south don't count.......

the N word has a long history of racism without a doubt, but we shouldn't downplay someone using a racial slur.    Not saying that you are but I am surprised that some of our resident SJW are.  Especially the ones that claim that they can't stand by and ignore hate when this seems to be an example of it.

Not the same maybe cracker equals boy in that way but not the N word. Not close IMO
Cracker is a lame insult might as well call me a guppy.
Brownie I am surprised you support Brown here as far as football. As a Giants fan you know a coach who runs a tight ship is how to win.

Am I the only one who sees/thinks that dj is defending himself against something completely different than what people are attacking him for? I think the "idiom" in question is the "give him enough rope" thing, no?

Raiders up the fine game.

The Oakland Raiders have fined Antonio Brownmore than $215,000 for conduct detrimental to the team, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

By fining Brown, the Raiders voided the $29.125 million worth of guaranteed money in his deal, sources said.

In addition the Raiders sent Brown a letter that he no longer will be entitled to termination pay in the event that they release him, sources said.

As a result, Brown is playing on a week-to-week basis with both his guaranteed money voided and lack of termination pay.
