Bucky looked good last night. It was a better win than 90% of the games they won last year. Taylor had over 180 yards, with 135 on the ground and 4 touchdowns. IF he keeps a commensurate level of production, he should get an invite to New York in December. Got his first 2 career passing touchdowns last night.

I feel much better than last year, but am cautiously optimistic.

I know that pain.  Georgia Southern wasn't that long ago.  Four freakin' pass attempts and still won.

upsets happen tOSU lost to Purdue last year an Iowa the year before.

tOSU looked good in the first qtr (28-0), then went thru the motions (45-21). Fields could be good, it looks like they avoided running him

Well I’ll be damned, the Boise state junior technological institute of advanced lawnmower maintenance donkeys actually won against Florida state.
I’m chuckling at all the fans locally who put so much effort into premature excuse building for them. It’s been all over the radio locally with 9/10 fans making every excuse in the book for their losing before game day and my fb feed was loaded with posts of how they aren’t doing bad until they actually pulled the lead.
They can be a team that surprises a person even with Harsin at the helm.
Now it’s full of optimistic championship drunkies......
Good for the fans, I’m sticking with Oregon to disappoint me in the end..

Pretty sad thread.  Florida has been through the dark years, but I've never been this low.

The coaches treated this game as a scrimmage. It’s as if they thought they could line up any combination and still walk away with the win.

I've been watching football for 30+ years and I can't ever recall the rotation on position groups as I witnessed today. I know I counted 10 OL not only being rotated but moving from LG to RT, etc. I understand what they were doing in trying to find the best combination and getting young players live action reps, but they over thought themselves on this one.

They had to know, or at least I would hope they did, the best OL, DL, LB, etc group that was the best to play. Put the game away then experiment. This one is on the coaches.

And the Ducks don’t fail to disappoint right out of the gate.....
I’m glad I’m not as invested as a couple good friends are.
Watched them lose to auburn 8 years ago in the championship and was liking what I saw here for a while...

I watched the last quarter and was getting tired of hearing the gushing about how badly he wanted to play for Auburn...it was like having Suzy Kolber in the booth

Don't forget their kicker. Shanked two FG's. Prolly would have missed thegame winner in the final 30 seconds if Bo hadn't tossed a QB instead.

So did Bama's kicker who was supposed to be the highest rated kicker out of HS.

Hit the upright from 50 and wide left from 49...made the PATs though so happy with that

Jalen is a beast. I was hoping he’d fit in well here, I’ll be a sooner fan this season unless they are playing bama in the playoffs. Hurts is a class act, he deserves a good season
