Even better when it's mislabeled for $30. I bought two bottles and they rang it up to around $130. I was like "hey it said $29.99" and showed the checkout girl a pic (I happened to text a buddy a pic). She said it was mislabeled but would give me that price. Score.

Agree, I picked up a bottle a couple weeks back. Your price was much better tho!

Very good stuff. Very sweet and rich. I’d call it a dessert bourbon.

$130?? Feck that noise. I can get it as a barrel pick from the local place for $38 iirc. They pick a barrel every year and for whatever reason it doesn't sell out until about now, from what is usually a December pick.

On edit... part of my quote didn't post.

I find a good bit of variability between bottles.  Some sweeter than others.  Sweeter is better in this one IMHO.  You need it to offset the wood flavor.

Lol that would be funny but no, it’s tomorrow near Lawrenceburg. Gonna be hanging with my family on Saturday tho near Sunman and then out on Hidden Valley Lake where two sets of my uncles/aunts live. I know you don’t have high opinions of HVL folks and I totally see where you’re coming from, my fam is pretty cool tho ;)

As long as they keep the valley, in the valley, they are cool.

When they try to make the country into the bubs....yeah no.

Like 58/bottle, I got 2.

Most prices I see online are $50+. Maybe your local place has really good prices?

Looks like MSRP is $42/bottle.

That might be what I'm paying. I haven't grabbed one since Christmas

I won't complain about 29% off either way :)

Love all Woodford Reserve!!

Their tour is pretty good, it’s a tiny place. The pot stills are gorgeous. The couple of forced heat cycle rick houses they have are stone and very neat.
