Showed a slightly different 4x4 to my son and he was VERY happy to possibly own it. Going Friday, crosses fingers.

Not sure if he will need to wear a popped collar to drive it.

Had a buddy that owned one and I drove it when he had too much to drink.

Drives like a tank and has a TON of blind spots for the driver to deal with.

It is pretty highly rated for the sand and off roading. He will be doing mountain trails. If you can call North Georgia and Tennessee mountains.

He'll be doing mountain trails more often than driving on the regular roads?

That thing screams tiny penis.
I see where you’re going with this, you want him out of school before making you a grandpa. There are better ways than this.
I’ve driven two different H2’s and they are great road trip vehicles, not so great anywhere else..
Lol

No, but he is buying a 4x4 for off roading, so it is a consideration. The blind spots are much worse on my wife's Challenger and he drives that.

I believe you will be very unhappy with this vehicle.

The smaller H3 is supposed to be a lot different than the H2.

Is this one of those Hiller threads where you've already bought the damn thing?

Have not bought it. The Hummer forums are pretty damn happy. The reviews are solid for both the body and engine. The crash test ratings are solid. Wife is happy, that means I am happy. It is what the boy wants.

Find him a Toyota pickup, extra cab if you want or a half ton of one type or the other. I just turned in a leased 2013 ram 1500 4x4 four door with the v6 just under 100,000 miles on it and immediately bought it from the dealer for $8400.00.
Jeeps are a blast but even my unlimited TJ is not in any justifiable way practical except to have fun in the mtns. and rocks.
That’s why my license plate says midlife and it’s got an annoying as #### to the neighbors stereo.
Some are great but where you are I’d be closely looking for rust.
The hummers are just retarded for anything but road trips and making an impression in the parking lot.
H3? Looked like an h2 from the crappy phone, probably not as bad as an h2 but I still can’t stand the look of them.
But my 16 year old has a Range Rover which is probably similar sized, actually not bad other than the miserable mileage.

We really are. I only have 20ish years left, I plan on continuing doing so. He works hard, he would have been happy with a Yugo.

I honestly don't know?
