I suggested Porsche Driving Experience.

"That costs too much"

What the hell? Last year, the Creative team went to bar hopping in Athens, GA and Savanah for 3 days.

The Legal team went to Maine and hung out at the lead council's ocean front house for a week, including chef catered meals and sailing lessons.

We. Went. Bowling.

Bowling.

So glad I don't have a "team" or a morale event. Vibes.

All of our events are designed to lower morale.

Nip slipWear a speedo

I learned this past summer that in much of Europe, speedos are required swimwear for men in public pools (supposedly for hygienic reasons). It makes for a lot of fat disgusting old men in the pools. And before you say it...no, I was not one of them - I didn’t swim in any of those pools!

Our morale events went from 4 hour boat tours with lunch provided to picnic lunch provided in a park to everyone bring a covered dish to the park to nothing. Once it gets bad enough nothing actually raises morale.

When I was in sales we would often have our annual sales meeting at nice hotels (typically AZ or FL). Often the arrival night it was an open bar around the pool. You would always have a couple people that would swim. They were never the attractive people

Our company summer outing this year was at Worlds Of Fun (amusement park). It was great. The summer event is for families and they cover tickets and food for everyone. The winter event is adults only. Last year it was at a bar that has a retro arcade. They had a great burger bar and free drinks, and gave everyone a game card for the arcade.

The hospital had a free employee lunch in the parking lot.  Drinking cocktails on the lazy river at a water park sounds awesome.

We used to have employee night at Six Flags Magic Mountain.. Park closed to public and employees only from 4pm till 2am.. It was awesome, and started 30 years ago when we were GTE.. Still did it when we were Verizon, then in 2016 when we became Frontier.. Now we don’t get Shit

I suppose a couple beers at the end of each shift keeps my morale in decent shape. Could be better
