It has been around the 90s since I watched this. After finishing s3 of Sabrina tonight I told Mico how much it was modeled after Buffy. So now I get to relive this series. Looking forward to it.

I’ve only started to appreciate how great Buffy was in the past few years

It's a great show with fantastic, clever writing.

Joss Whedon's best IMO

firefly could have been as good or better, the network just didn't give it a chance.

FTR - Evil Willow was the best part of that show.

With all of the reboots over the last few years.  I'm honestly surprised that they haven't done this one.

I also find it interesting that Sarah Michelle Geller hasn't done much of anything since then. Looking at IMDB it looks like she does some TV movies and miniseries.  But nothing of note.

I watched the first few seasons, but didn't finish.  I didn't watch much after Spike became her boyfriend - not because of that just as a marker for about when I stopped watching.  (James Marsters, who played Spike, is an absolutely fabulous performer of audiobooks, btw.)  I had a new baby at the time and watching teens on TV went way down in priority.  I stopped watching Charmed at about the same time for the same reason.

Sarah Michelle Geller has done lots of stuff.  Two Scooby Doo movies were a big deal at the time, and Cruel Intentions was HUGE.  That recent series with Robin Williams did pretty well.

I love the original movie with Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry plus Paul Ruben, Donald Sutherland and Rutger Hauer. What's not to love?  I'll usually stop and watch if it's on.

I enjoyed the movie more than the series.

I think I will save the movie for completion of the series.

Yeah, what was that, 17 episodes? It really could have been one of the all time greats.

I thought Evil Willow was a poor choice for a climax to the season but I did like vampire Willow....sexy!

And the best part of the show ( IMO) was every iteration of Spike...from William The Bloody ( Awful Poet) to hapless Spike with Drusilla, to puppy love Spike.

And Anya, and the original Nerd Herd: Andrew, Warren, and Jonathan.

Ugh, don't waste your time

Lawd, I forgot how bad the fight scene choreography was in the 90s. My son gave me the "really" look.

After the first season it was awesome..

Little blonde girl kicking vampires in the face as fast as she can and taking massive hits to the face at the same time  :D

The low V necks on the show were a great tease. She was 20 when the show started, it makes me feel less pervy.

Honestly, it is disturbing to hear some of the comments from men in their 40s and 50s at football games about high school cheerleaders.

Oh I've heard it. You can think it but you don't have to share it.
