I can shop at Walmart, Meijers, or Aldi. I'm looking for good tasting frozen burritos that I can microwave.

No fecking way.

ETA - friend of mine swears by some from Costco that are like all organic and stuff, says they are decent enough for a quick drunk snack, on or with some of Taco Bell offerings , so he claims

Most of the meat ones are nasty, but it's hard to mess up a bean and cheese burrito, most of those are edible. It's a tortilla, pinto beans, and cheese.

Seems easier to just make a bunch yourself with good ingredients and freeze your own

This... Especially ground beef. I've been known to nuke bean and cheese burritos in the microwave and then smother them in salsa and add a dollop of sour cream.

I tried eating just beans but I didn't cook them enough so I got really sick until I evacuated them. Then I ate a lot of chocolate and had a mental freakout. Luckily I had a frozen pizza so I survived week one of cooking for myself.

Kids seem to dig ALL Tina's burritos... 4 for $1 is a win, and Ian and his friends dig them.. I like the red hots and the green beef ones the most

Can't you eat some of your survival rations?

Ramen is great.   If you don't feel like eating it dry, most fast food restaurants will give you a styrofoam cup full of hot water for free, if you ask nicely.

I also tried eating backpacking food: open a 4oz bag of Idahoan instant mashed potatoes, pour cold water in, stir it around, break up a Spam Single, throw it in, mix it up and eat. It was not that great, I couldn't eat it all.

I found some leftovers in the freezer, so I guess I will eat well tonight.

A combo of Richmoor French Onion Soup, and “lunch #2”(pilot biscuits with tuna spread) will make you toxic

I have a wierd love for frozen burritos. I know they are nasty AF, but I love them. Especially the El Monterey ones. Probably because I lived off them when I was a teenager/young man. I eat them like once every 3 months.
