Other than the smoke damage, I'd have had a hard time pointing out what happened if I hadn't seen all of the coverage of the fire.  To me, the bell towers are the most memorable parts.

Do they have it completely blocked off, or can you get closer?

Blocked off and guarded with automatic weapons.

Have you seen that the yellow vests are completely losing their shit that the world is opening their pocket books to help with the Notre Dame recovery, whilst the Gimmedat Revolution goes largely unfunded?

Funny... I say online yesterday that the yellow vests set fires throughout the city. I was like.... "Quoi?".

That being said... the Champs-Elysees had a bunch of high end store Windows still boarded up. McDonald's had one window badly cracked and Iran Air Windows were also badly smashed but still intact.

I didn't think Augie had connections with Emmanual Macron.

LOL!

I wonder what the official Vatican stance is on the ownership of the Cathedral?  Do they want it back under the authority of the Parisian Diocese, or are they fine with it being a State owned building?  I'll bet given the value and the M&R responsibilities, they are probably fine with it being a State owned building.  And this fire is exactly the reason why I think that.

As a Property Attorney, I'd love to see the agreement between the State and the Diocese on the use of the building and who has what responsibilities.
