You would have a seizure if you lived at my house.

Yeah, annoys me, too.

Why is that soy sauce so far over to the left instead of being snuggled up to the ragu?
Actually there is all kinds of shit wrong here. The vinegars and the soy sauce should go together. Two boxes of crackers on different shelves. Where's the categorization??

I grew up really poor. We didn't always have food at the end of the month. My wife took some time to understand why I want the pantry full all the time and organized so I can just reach in for what I want without searching. I never want my boys to see we are running out of food.

If my pantry had empty shelves and food scattered with no rhyme or reason, yes my OCD would kick in hard.

Leaves in the pool.  Uncut, out-of-control grass.  A dirty car.  Papers laying at the bottom of the driveway (which I don't even want or pay for... they just appear).  Probably many others including this...

Yes, but I've given up. It's either lock the knives down or accept that women don't give a feck about treating them properly.

As a person who has spent a fair amount of time working in the retail sales environment, I will straighten things up (AKA facing) a display. I also spend a good deal of time making sure I return the product to the correct hook. If take something off a shelf, walk away and then decide not to purchase, I will walk to the other side of Home Depot put back where I got.

My OCD is limited to retail staff sympathy syndrome.

You would hate living on a dirt road.  After it rains, our cars are filthy before they reach pavement.  We have an unlimited plan at the car wash.  I go a minimum of 2x/week, and the car is always dirty.  Now that it is mud season, I expect to have a filthy car all the time.  I'll still go get it washed, but it won't stay kinda clean until June.

My one sister lives on a pink dirt road an hour south of Atlanta.  I always joke with her about how she doesn't have to wash her car... there is no point.
