Something's wrong with my right thumb, right where it connects to the wrist. Can't put any weight on it. Can do pushups much less real lifts. Took two weeks off from the gym and it got worse. Probably related to a hard fall I took on that arm some 15 years ago snowboarding.
Went to the doc, he thinks it's a torn ligament. Might need surgery because even if it stops hurting it probably won't be stronger. But we really didn't talk about that. Instead, we talked about my blood pressure. Apparently it's high and being in shape doesn't matter. Been taking readings at home 2x a day and he's probably going to put me on medicine because there doesn't seem to be any long hanging fruit.
