You know Murphy's law says whatever can happen, will. White's corollary to Murphy's Law says "Murphy was an Optimist". (aka Denny's Internet in his lovely country home was out all last week. He's almost back online!) So we're revisiting one of our favorite pieces of science from last year - Cryo vs. T-90!

I need to get around to listening to this.  I will be honest, I was excited when cryo hops came out but after using them I am no longer as excited about them and the $4-5/oz.  I could have been using them wrong but for now I have gone back to good old pellets.

Whatever works for ya....for me, cryo is a continual learning experience.  I'm also really digging the American noble pellets.  They made a huge difference to my American mild, and I currently have a bock-ish lager fermenting that used them.  I think they have a lot of promise, but also will take some experimentation to figure out the best way to use them.

I made a pils dry hopped rather heavily with the American noble Citra that came out great and has been quite popular.

I use some cryo’s in my current DIPA and it’s very good as well. Pricey but the improvement in yield is worth it.

I have not tried the American Noble hops yet but I will have to pick some up. I can see cryo really helping on the commercial size with respect to yields.

Are American noble available to homebrewers? I looked fast and saw nothing.

I haven’t seen them in anything less than 11 pound boxes.

I'm trying to fond out exactly when they will be.  At this point, the best I can get is "by fall".
