Looked in flower bed today and 80% of our plants have sprouted and are maturing. No idea what to do. Snow or frost will likely kill them back. I assume they would sprout again in the spring?

Any seasoned strawberry growers have an opinion on what I should do? I live in the mtns of NC.

You’ll want to cover the bed with heavy duty plastic sheeting.... something similar to heavy duty yard bags
Once it warms up after your last snow you can remove the plastic and go bau
