Hey, you had a thread about a Czech Pils/Czech Lager over HERE but the image with your recipe is no longer working. Did you make it?  Do you remember the recipe?  I'm making one this afternoon but someone on the low-O2 forum who appears to have a lot of experience with Czech Pils is saying no hops after 30 minutes.  I have some WP additions and I'm wondering if I stick with it or adjust.  Do you still have that recipe anywhere?  Cheers.

I originally had some FWH action, some 'start of the boil' action and then two ounces in the WP.  This guy on the low-O2 forum is hardcore Czech Pils and he buys Saaz hops directly from a farmer/grower in the Czech Republic and says that all Saaz hops found in the US are inferior.  .  I have five ounces from YCH and that's going to have to work... it's all I have.  But he insists on no late hops despite many online recipes showing hops at 15, 5, flameout, etc.  I have reworked the recipe (for now) to two ounces as a FWH and 3 ounces (at 2.6%) for 30 minutes.  Based on how you think the FWH addition contributes IBUs, that would bring me to right around 40-45 IBUs which is in the ballpark for a Czech Pils.  I'm also diluting 25% with distilled for some additional softness and to lower sulfate.  Seems reasonable all the way around but this brewer is bucking the trend of the rest of the web.
