my brother recommended it to me and since i've been up on shitty work phone calls and basically up til all hours of the morning (for instance I haven't slept tonite yet) so I thought I'd check it out

period piece set in the 50's about a divorcee' who gets into standup comedy.  a recurring character is Lenny Bruce.  solid stuff and mrs maisel flashes her copious cans in the first episode.

The actress played the hooker in House of Cards, which is like a 180 of character/personality.

Tony Shalhoub is pretty good in it. Kevin Pollak too to a lesser extent.

We enjoyed season 1. It kind of feels like a show that will run out of gas, but I guess we'll see where it goes. We haven't watched season 2 yet.

Halfway through episode two, delivering the Lulz.

And her cans were impressive

Started season 2 a few days ago.  One of the better Amazon originals, in my opinion.

I haven’t watched a ton of amazon originals but Mrs maisel and Jack Ryan have both been quite a bit better than I expected.

Jack Ryan was good. I read some of the early books in high school and felt true to the source material.

I've read it all, it is pretty faithful to the concept, if not the exact letter of the storylines

Started watching The Marvelous Mrs Maisel last night... made a good dent in Season 1. Pretty good show. Nice change of pace after watching several drama series.

season two doesn't seem quite as good.  started to fade away after the first couple of episodes.
