Got sidetracked with a new baby (not at first, but eventually), and bought ingredients a few months back, but there is scaffolding all over the back deck where I usually brew. Hopefully that will be done in the next 2-3 weeks and I can finally brew. I have a fence to build but I can interleave that with a brew session. Fall is my favorite time to brew.

I take the summer off. I'm down to 5 gallons of Homebrew. I'm thinking I'll get started with some bitter Galaxy. Anyone else going to be back in the saddle again soon?
I have not brewed in a month or so, too many other projects that I needed to get done. I hope to brew a batch over labor day weekend. I think I am going with Smokey Brown.

Brew day will be this Wednesday; porter is in the on-deck circle. Imperial stout is next after that.
Supposed to be a nice day (low 70s and sunny) so wings on the grill will be happening, as brewing is hungry work.

Wings? Say what!
I know, I was surprised, too.
But while we were at the store yesterday early, a family pack of chicken wings somehow landed in our cart, made it thru the checkout, and ended up in our fridge.
First world problems, yo.
