Friggin got me good last Saturday. Played golf and my back started itching, which isn't remarkable because I get hives from the heat the first couple times I spend a lot of time outside. I carry around a benadryl in my wallet for such an occasion and usually if I take half of one I'll be fine and I won't get a reaction so long as I don't spend too much time inside. Well I got home from golf and my back was covered in bites... hundreds. This wasn't a hive reaction. The bites are starting to clear up today. I've never had them this bad. It made me think about naked and afraid and how utterly miserable those people must be. I must of brushed up against a tree or some moss while taking a piss.

TL:DR... hundreds of chigger bites on my back, neck, and shoulders. Sucks.

Thankfully I haven’t been bothered by them since I was a kid. Itching sucks though!

Sorry dude. Chiggers and ticks apparently think I'm delicious as well. I have to cover up in repellent at any temp above 40f if I step in the grass as the bites turn nasty on me.

If I'm going to be doing outside work I step in the shower and slather myself in avon skin so soft and it keeps them at bay when Off only lasts a couple hours.

I make no claims of golfing greatness. I spend a lot of time in the woods.

I haven't been bit up like that in a long time.

Wasn’t ripping on your skills.. Actually I play my best golf when I’ve got a good buzz going on

It was so hot and we'd been drinking. I wanted to quit by the 16th hole. It was a struggle to finish.

I find it to be more about timing and rhythm

I agree, but for me to hit straight I have to have correct posture and not try to kill the ball.

I still have way to many "tin cup" moments on the golf course.......

its easy to fix that.  quit hitting it.  pull out a 3w instead, sure you'll lose 30-50yds but you'll be in the fairway.  better to hit 220 straight away than 275 in the woods.  my game improved dramatically when i started golfing smart instead of playing steroid golf.
