I picked up a complete spartanburg corny at a flea mkt today for $4. It looks like someone retrofitted it with pipe thread fittings nicely TIG'ed to the keg body and Parker 62/63 SS hydraulic QDs.

These: https://www.ebay.com...ass!73157!US!-1

It also has some kind of strange pickup filter on the end of the 1/2" liquid dip tube that looks like a shower head. What the heck did I get and can it be converted to regular fittings? Looks like ~$75 worth of SS fittings on top of this thing.

Check the residue.  May have been used in carpet cleaning.

No odor. It had a little water in it due to being left outside with the cap upside down. I found some fittings that have 1/4 npt male to corny fitting male thread. You screw them into the pipe fittings and screw corny fittings on to them. Would cost ~$20 to fit it. I'm gonna put it in storage and fix it if I need an 8th keg--a rarity for me. $24 for a ball lock corny is a pretty good deal.

Maybe use it for a beer line cleaner?
