I got my liquid line cleaner in the mail and rigged a pump together with what I had on hand. Windshield washer pump, computer fan to keep the pump cool, and my battery charger to power it as it's all 12V. Pump overheats every 2 mins so it has to be stopped and allowed to cool. :banghead:

OMG.  I give you an A+ for effort and creativity but I think I would have just filled a keg and pushed it through the line with CO2.   Have fun and don't set the damn house on fiyah!

My cheapbastageness won't let me use CO2 like that. I have to make myself suffer lol.

After cleaning the soapy tasting lines that were fouled by dollar trees fake oxiclean they still taste like soap. I cut all the lines off the taps and QCs.

I'm hoping that shit didnt flavor the tap seals. Not very happy right now. Grrr.

Ask the neighbor if they want some free fake Oxiclean.  If they say no, punt it into the trash instead.  :P  When I got a 20# tank using CO2 seemed a little more inviting.  When the local supplier started filling tanks things got even better.  When they started ignoring the hydro seal date on the tanks then things started looking really good.  I also stopped all CO2 leaks (AFAIK) by using keg lube.  The CO2 world has been really good here lately.

The wife will use it in the laundry. I never had a problem with oxy free. Scared to use anything but pbw now.

I'm pretty good on CO2 with 4 20lb tanks but still hate pushing with it. I just cant make myself. B/c of my frugalness with CO2 I still am using the first 20lb tank I had filled in 2012. It's served 6 kegs w/o a refill for 5+ years.

Now that I have JG fittings I wont wash another line. I'm redoing everything and will change out at keg change from now on.
