I use Denny's simple method and recently bought a pump to make brewing fun again. I've checked out products at online shops but was wondering if I could get away with using fittings from Lowe's or Home Depot instead of the ss ones.
Thanks, dudes!

Good to see that you can cook up some french fries while you're brewing.

Here's my set-up. I just disconnect my recirc hose from the kettle and fill the fermenters.

Top valve is in, bottom is drain, side is out. McMaster hydraulic QDs George posted about years ago.

You just never know when you get a craving for french fries!

That is funny because now that I have a pump, trying to do a backwards configuration into my current system seems a bit wrong-headed.

Once you go pump you can not go back!
