And yet another new single dropped this past week:

And I dig this one, too.

Agreed; William Duvall's voice is so similar to Layne Staley's voice, it's eerie.

Dis, if you haven't seen/heard it yet, this was the first single AiC released a couple of months back, from said forthcoming album:

Oh, I've been on all of them but this new one.  Need to relisten before I form an opinion.

I'm always balls deep in AiC.  ALWAYS.

They are my favorite band overall.  Motorhead is a close second, but I listen to AiC (all the way back to the Facelift album) more than any other band.

Dirt was a masterpiece.

Black Gives Way to Blue and The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here are both excellent and get played often in my iTunes.

yup, tough to tell the difference unless you listen side by side

Dirt, Jar of Flies, AiC, Sap, Face Lift, Black Gives Way..., Devil.  I personally consider Cantrell's two solo albums AIC, as it's the same musicians, but understand others don't.  I'd put Boggy Depot and Degradation Trip in between Sap and Facelift.

Dunno exactly what I think of the last two singles.  They are missing something.  Dunno if it's Layne or soul or drugs (or were those last two just Layne anyway?) but it feels like by-the-numbers AiC.  Granted, that's better than 99% of music out there today so I ain't complaining.

No complaints here, either; will be curious to hear how the rest of Rainier Fog sounds.

Maybe the above singles are outliers, and the rest of the album is even better, in which case I'd be super happy.
