Oh man, I had a small boilover using the kitchen stove. They wort burnt on so hard there was still some there when we replaced the stove a few years later... I hope yours was outside.

My starter flask boils over on the cook-top pretty much every time I make one. That's why I try to make my starters when The Mrs is out of town...

yeah, that's about where I'm at, to.. Maybe 40-50 but often enough!

I have not had a boilover in years and yet after reading this post I came close yesterday. Damn foam was 1" below the kettle lip but thankfully I just shut the element off and down it went.
