About $1.50 and 35 minutes for almost 4L spinning.

I've been crushing an extra pound of grain for each batch lately.  It gets vacpacked for the next starter.  And each starter is made big enough to harvest about 600ml - I brew 10 gallon batches.  Group buys from a LHBS gets me generic 2-row for under a buck a pound.  I have an electric kettle repurposed from a sterilizer that hold probably a couple gallons.

12 minute mash.  7 minutes from when it hits 170df and eventually boils to chill with an IC that fits in the kettle.  Cleanup and put it away.  That was about 10 batches from a smackpak of 1272 I bought last September.

I know we all brew a bit different.  I don't usually stray too much from a few strains and prefer to shake things  up the fermentables.  Anyway - thought I would share.
