A rolled up bath towel secured on each end with duct tape is what Bob and Brad recommend for people on a budget

Were you the one that posted those mobility WODs? Looks interesting, but now it’s a pay to play program. Dude seems super intense/crazy.

. We have it at my gym for post workout. I’ve yet to try it.

Today was rough. I’m coming off a GI bug. And it was a couple leg heavy days in a row. Usually the programming spreads the love. But this week crushed me.

Stiff legged deadlifts are stealthy torturous bastards.

We used them at the end of the session last week. First time I’ve ever tried them so it was really just painful. But I like the idea. Warm up, WOD, then recovery/mobility work.

Today was a 1x1 with a trainer and we just worked on squats. I love squats, but it wasn’t a real workout, mostly just checking out my form. Apparently I’ve been doing them right, so that was nice. Really want to just get going. Going to take a lot of work to just get to Rx.

Lol. I’ve rx’d 1 workout in the 6 months since I’ve started. It was just the perfect combination of exercises that I could swing the prescribed weights

Nobody has asked about what muscle you want to stimulate.

What hurts?

Yeah they work to loosen up the muscles fibers.  Similarly deep tissue massages, etc. right?  Get the right firmness though, the first one we got was pretty firm and painful and hit a narrow band.  A slightly softer one works better for us.  I use it to try and loosen up leg muscles after hard routines, when I was in for some knee PT they were pointing out how tight some of them were which I hadn't paid attention to but was apparent after the fact.  I'm not always good about using it routinely.
