of the Windows BSOD glitches over the years? For instance this is what you once were presented with.

bsod.jpg

Daunting, cryptic, ominous to the max. Only the Nerdiest of the Nerds Most High (~head bow thank you masters~) knew what this meant and apparently they told no one.

Now days we are pc. More kinder, gentler. We've abandoned our aggression. Here is what we get:

On nos. We have a little problem, but we're going to make everything all right. We're going to turn that frown upside down. Who's with me? I fully expect that the next itteration of Windows will have something like this.....well probably less the ####s.

Damn.  That second one does not deserve the moniker "BSOD".  That's fer damn sure.  The second shot is equivalent to oil-less turkey frying.

User don’t read that shit anyways.

If I had a dollar for every time I had a user tell me they got a pop up. And then I ask what it said. Only to hear “ oh I don’t know I just clicked ok”. I wouldn’t need to work anymore.

It's fun trying to troubleshoot a "something went wrong" error message.  Give me the deets, bruh!  Making me go hunt down logs and shit.

KD FTW. But honestly, unless you're writing kernel mode shit that first BSOD is just as useless. As much as I hate Java puking the stack trace to stdout I don't miss writing custom exception handlers for every.single.project.
