for cutting grass I wouldn't want to be fitting decks to ATVs.  I'd want a machine intended for cutting grass.  if I needed an additional rig for hauling stuff then I might get a separate ATV.

I have a Gator. I use it for hauling limbs out of the woods, and down at the lake maintenance. But I bought it on CL.

An ATV sounds like it'd be fun. You can never overkill, just awesome kill. And there is no limit to awesome.

I like this perspective as well, but truth be told, I'd probably just kill myself out on the dirt bike trails with it. My understanding is that middle aged white males are prone to suicide. Why tempt data science?

Would you then start a thread about exactly that?

Feeling alive is the cure for suicide.

the positive to the ATV/UTV route is entertainment value that a tractor will NEVER have.  there are a lot of great functional accessories for ATV/UTV's that many oldschool peeps will never believe can work as good but they often do.  plus if you have any amount of land the ATV/UTV's simply ride smoother and are more comfortable to drive (and faster of course)

polaris brutus line has air conditioning/heating in the cab not to mention front PTO to drive the mower or snowblower (and other accessories), just sayin

The UTVs have driven down the price on used ATVs.

I sold my 660 Grizzly with decently low hours for 2200 a few years back. That thing was a fecking beast. Scary the power it had.

If I were to buy one for yard work I’d likely look at a 400cc model.
