I think a nylon bag works better than the SS screen. there, I said it. the SS screen always seems to let sediment through FOREVER while the nylon bag kegs seem to start running clear after a couple of pints.

A nylong bag is all I've ever used for keg hopping. Works well; i see no need to change what works.

How are you using the SS? I have no issues using it around the diptube but with that said, floating dip tubes are the best solution for me.
It's just in an otherwise unmodified keg.

So the hops are going in the tube? Yeah, I never liked it that way.

I mush prefer to have the diptiube surrounded by the SS canister with the diptube cut a bit. But every system works a bit different. I just find bags a PITA at the end.

I use http://www.clearbeerdraughtsystem.com/ in the keg with a screen. No bags or canisters needed.

Yes, I have moved to the $10 more beer version of that and it works well. I only have 2 at this point and they are OOS at the moment so all beers do not get treated the same.
