Did a quick search and couldn't find a thread.
If you haven't been on the internet the last couple of days, there is an audioclip from vocabulary.com that either sounds like "laurel" to some listeners and "yanny" to others. It apparently has something to do with frequencies and it's just amazing that it does. I found this website that has a tool that adjusts the frequencies.
A few questions...
1. What word do you hear first?
2. How far do you have to slide the bar before you hear the other?
3. I know we have some audio-engineers in here... can anyone explain this? I get that it is has to do with frequencies, but that's like saying "it's snow because its too cold for it to be rain".
