... a 25' copper chiller? I have been on a bit of a spring cleanup lately and I have a bunch of BETTER BOTTLES on Craigslist and this old copper chiller that I was just about to throw out but then I remembered that copper is somewhat valuable. Should I try to sell it or just leave it in plain sight on garbage day assuming one of these roving trucks will take it? Does anyone have any idea what it would be worth?

Scrap value is about 2.50 a pound. Maybe throw it on CL for $20?

I see that they sell for anywhere between $45 and maybe $60 brand new. Not sure someone would fork over $20 for this thing but I suppose it couldn't hurt. I put these BETTER BOTTLES on CL once before and no one seems to want them. A couple years ago we had a garage sale and some Russians bought my 2 or 3 glass carboys for wine. I was hoping someone could use these things because I have EIGHT of them. 8! :D

I have a small IC that I use for chilling starters.  I have no idea when or why I made it.

I think he was using them for secondary. I use mine for yeast starters and hard cider.

Don't use them anymore. From primary to keg and I use buckets for primary. I did have one guy come by and buy the 6-gallon jobbie but now I have seven 5-gallon BBs left. Hopefully someone wants them.
