First round under 70 since 2015 and peeking into the top 10 heading into the final round of the Honda Classic.

Hope he makes a comeback. We played some of the same courses around So. Ca. Not at the same time nor at his level.

When he was on top he was alot of fun to watch play.  didn't matter if he was down by six shots going into Sunday and you just knew he had the game to make it interesting.

I'm a Tiger fan, but will bet you a voodoo donut of your choice he won't finish in the top 5.

Back in the day, Honda Classic was a Jackie Gleason event at the Inverrary Country Club. Had a get together with friends in FL last year and played this course. You could tell it was something at one time but is definitely "faded glory" now. Did get to see Gleason's Rolls Royce golf cart in the pro shop though.

I still think he behaved poorly but what the hell - who's perfect.  Even if he gets back to his old form players aren't going to be intimidated by him as they were back in the day.  There are a bunch of young studs out there that think they can beat anyone.  I'd like to see him back in the mix.  I doubt it will be this weekend though

Friday he cracked a 361 yard drive, that against all recent Tiger Drive Odds found the fairway. The fairway of the hole he was currently playing. That’s pretty fecking intimidating.

The neat thing is, many golfers would give up the driver if they were as bad as Tiger has been the last three tournaments. He’s sticking with it.

I saw that - that's a long fecking drive even with the fairways groomed to roll.  I still think he would be smart to leave it in the locker for a while though.

I think he’s gonna keep ripping it. He doesn’t have a tour card to worry about, and the rest of his game is good enough to not make him look he’s taking a spot from someone.

I hope his game comes back to him. It would be great to see him take a run at Jack's records.

Getting to 18 will be hard at his age. It is hard to win a major after 40. He needs 4 just to tie jack

He played very well. Justin Ross looked great. The rookie at the top is lucky Rose shot a 66 to be in the final group. I doubt he would do well with the circus around Tiger.

He has so many top golfers right on his score, someone is going to make a run. The pressure of the last pairing on Sunday is not something many can take. The one thing I have always respected about Tiger is he lives to be in the middle of the circus he creates. He has never shied away from it.

Stuart Sink goes out early, and gets around in 66. He started the day tied for 66th thanks to the fat 75 he shot yesterday, and moved all the way up to a tie for 35th.  I bet that is a significant paycheck bump.

Tiger is striking the ball nice. Once he gets rolling, he can put up some low numbers. The cream is starting to rise. Casey is going to push the leaders to stay aggresive.
