I e-mailed inquiring about acquiring some new caps for my 32oz bottle of star san because they both cracked.  Without any questions asked they sent me 6 replacement caps for free.  the new caps are child proof and much more heavy duty.

Good customer service there  :frank:

I thought I was the only one that cranked the cap down too tight and cracked it

I didn't think I was being too rough but it could be that I store my star san in the garage and the temperature swings are making the bottle expand/contract.  not sure though.

Soda bottle lid fits it. I broke one of mine years ago and used one on it.

I tried that but it didn't seal well enough to make a seal such that I could squeeze star san into the measuring reservoir.

Agh, I just use on of those kids medicine cups for mine so that part did not matter.

I've had those caps break in the past as well (at least twice).  I always marked it up to me not brewing frequently and them just cracking from age.

Gotcha. I use the other side. I put 1/2 tsp starsan in a 32 oz squirt bottle and thats pretty much the only way I mix it. I just spray everything.
