I wouldn't have known the Bayern was the same as 2352 if you hadn't mentioned it. You must have some yeast "inside information".Since it is relevant to your interests... L17 Harvest is the same strain as WY2352 which, as you know, is of the same origin as Omega Bayern Lager.

Only one way to find out.IIRC all the Imperial strains originated from Wyeast. As did their founders. Several of their original offerings were yeasts that were Wyeast PC strains at the time. Its not a stretch to believe it came from 2352.
