Made this today:

5lb Pils

5lb Munich

1lb C-60

1 oz Cascade (6.6% AA, pellets) FWH

1 oz Magnum (12.8% AA, pellets), 90-min boil

2 oz Mosaic (12.3% AA, pellets): 1 oz for @10min, then 0.5 oz @ both 5 min and flameout

US-05 will handle the heavy lifting in the primary.

Beersmith2 says this one should weigh in at ~1.060 and ~80 IBUs in Beersmith 2.

That said, as smooth as Magnum and Mosaic are to my palate, I don't expect the final product to be as crushingly-bitter as the 80 IBUs might imply.

Will know in about a month.

Looks good, other than that 90 minute boil:)

Any thoughts on dryhoping?

Good question; this one (as most beers) would probably benefit from a dry-hop.

The question then becomes: what variety?

Here's what I have in my inventory:

Cascade

Centennial

Mosaic

Columbus

First Gold

EKG

Amarillo

Liberty

Mt. Hood

Pilgrim

Magnum

Herkules

Hallertau

I would reinforce the boil hops and go with cascade and Mosaic.

I do have plenty of both; perhaps 1 oz each for the dry-hop?

I think that would be good.

So many good choices; maybe 0.5 oz each of Cascade, Mosaic, and Amarillo?

I don't dry hop and even *I* dry-hopped my amber ale. But I didn't want the beer fruity so I used Nugget, Crystal, Willamette, Mt. Hood and Glacier in the boil and then dry hopped it with Mt. Hood and Northern Brewer. That was a nice beer and I probably need to make another one soon.

Kegged this bad boy about an hour ago, and keg-hopped with an oz of whole Mt. Hood hops in a sanitized mesh drawstring bag..

Smelled very nice, and I look forward to seeing how the Mt. Hood plays with the Mosaic.

Also added 5 mL of Biofine to the keg before racking the beer; this will be an experiment to see if dry-hopping in the keg interferes with the Biofine doing its work, or vice versa.

That is my SOP when I used BF and DH.  I add both to the brite tank with no issues.
