I've been lazy lately and just harvesting yeast for over a year.  And probably tempting fate by going too long.  Time to make starters again.  I've done a couple AG starters but my notes are long gone.  And the dudadiesel hop strainer is gathering dust - seems like that would be great for this.  What's a reasonable efficiency to expect for a 1.035 wort?

Ok I ran some rough numbers. I would expect about 85% into the kettle at 3.82qt/lb. Is that what you were looking for?

Last one I did was 75% eff. 2lbs of malt, .1lb acid malt for 1.25gal starter boiled down to 1gal. at 1.036 OG.

I threw my loose grain in a 1.5gal pot on the stove and kept it 150F then poured it thru a strainer to sparge

Thanks guys.  I would have guessed lower but I usually don't shoot for that low of gravity.
