I'm putting a temp controller on the xmas list.  This will go on a 12 year old upright freezer for fermentation temperature control.  Are the Inkbirds any good? The programmable seems like a steal.  I'm a little wary of only 1200 Watts max.

I have 2 non-programmable inkbirds I got from Amazon. They work great and the few extra $$$ are worth not having to spend the time building another STC-1000. I run a chest freezer with one and it handles it fine.

I need to get a new one for my dryer vent. My old analog Johnson I was using died.

I use an Inkbird for my cheesecave and plan to switch my brewing controllers over to Inkbirds too. I've had the one since February with no issues at all. Well worth the $35 off Amazon since back in 2009 I spent $70 on each of 3 Ranco controllers

Now you've got me looking at homebrewfinds.com all the time.  The wife said just buy it, so I bit on today's offer for $35.99.
