I have 2, non-wheeled Igloo Ice Cubes that I use as my MLT (and HLT when I used to fly sparge). I think they are 48 quart or 48 can or something like that. I'm hoping that someone else with this cooler can help me out...did they come with an interior rack or shelf? I bought these a very long time ago and have moved at least twice so I only have the cooler at this point. I was looking for a way of hanging my sous vide circulator in one but I think the coolers are too deep...an interior shelf would be awesome. I just bought a 2nd circulator and am considering using it to heat my strike water or to BIAG. Thanks!

I have every size Cube made. None of them came with a shelf. Ive seen others use the Cube for Sous Vide before but it seems they cut a hole in the lid to mount it.

Thanks for checking! From looking at the inside of mine, it looks like there's a spot to suspend a shelf from but maybe that serves another purpose.

I'm not really sure what that is for. But I bet you could make something work.

Get something to cover it when using the sous vide circulator and cut a hole in it.  I ruined a cooler with my old (RIP) diy sous vide

I have two coolers just like you describe.  I know what you're seeing when you talk about a ledge that might have held a shelf, but I don't remember anything like a shelf.  I think it's just a ridge in the side.

Thanks for the info! Here's another question. I want to try doing a no-sparge brew this weekend. Is there a way to figure out how much grain and water will fit into this cooler? The recipe I'm looking at has around 10# of grain (5 gallon batch)and I'll be doing a 30 minute boil. Will this fit?

You know the grain and if you use the "Can I Mash It" calculator you should be able to figure it out.
