After almost a year off all- grain brewing , i am back i hope.. Lots of life situations...

 

Getting ready to Mash Out.. Not sure what to name this brew ..Northern Brewer (bittering) Huge load of Crystal hops through out the end..All base malt, with some 30L crystal malts .. 10 gallon.. trying to dust off all the equipment, remembered i broke my egg timer,,and got a new thermometer.. Hope to not forget much else..

Just bought a house. As soon as the fund become available, I'm basically rebuilding my brewery from scratch.

 

Can't wait for that first batch!

Sounds like a nice beer too. I have an amber ale on tap that included Northern Brewer and Crystal. When it's ready to roll, we'll need a shot of your beer in the pic thread.

I'm really looking forward to doing some brewing.  Now that I have an outbuilding with essentially unlimited space and utilities for brewing, I need to figure out how I'm going to set things up.  I've been spending so much time with the move and getting caught up with other 'house' things I haven't had time to think about getting set up. 

 

Before the house search/buying saga started I had almost completed a hoist-based BIAB system (i think there's a thread somewhere).   It shouldn't be too bad to get that running now.  There may be a brew day some time in October...
