Just got the e-mail today and have to start thinking about what I need.  I think this year will be a departure from what I normally get, I am still sitting on a couple pounds of my normal favorites: citra, simcoe, chinook, mosaic ETC.  Right now I am looking at some new stuff I have not really played with..

Hull Mellon

Madarina Bavaria

Liberty

Herbsucker

Idaho Gem

Edelweiss

What is everyone else thinking?

From where?

Hop Heaven.  Denny always recommended them and the hops they have are great quality.

Not really sure but my order will be small. Maybe a few hops that are new to me. Not enough brewing this year to go through a lot of stock.

No, it's been an excellent year for hops from what I've heard.  Hope to have some "horse's mouth" info later in the week.

so I'm thinking of going back to some classics like drez said in another thread.

columbus

chinook

centennial

maybe citra and simcoe but kind of pricey  <_<

maybe willamette and cascade (even though I grow it but am too lazy to process it)

are there other hops I should be trying out from the list?

Willamette was on my short list as well but not sure.  I have a lot of C's already that is why I skipped em this time.  I did not think the Simcoe and Citra were bad at all.  $25 right now for last years at Farmhouse Brewing.  I am really thinking about brewing more lagers next year so trying to pick up some hops that will work well with them as well.

it's true I didn't look around at other prices.  I guess $19 is pretty good!  I just meant relative to some other hops on his list though.

I have a good amount of US hallertau and mt. hood so those will cover my more traditional lager needs.

yeah, the reality is I could buy no hops and make enough beer for next year.  especially if I made more lagers which don't hit the hops so hard.

The reality for me is I could keep brewing as I have been and not have an issue.  I really need to think if I should be ordering some.  Or just pull back and pick up a few new ones in half# packages.
