have we had a thread on this? New Netflix Original series. Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. Has kind of a Breaking Bad vibe. I'm 8 episodes in, watching #9 right now. Is good.

Watched a couple episodes this weekend after we got back from the Lake of the Ozarks, coincidentally. We like it so far.

Finishing the last episode this evening. Really enjoyed this series. Without a spoiler does this season end with a cliff hanger leading into another season or could this be a stand alone? I can't believe it wouldn't have another season.

I'm not done with it yet, but Shell's opium field is lulz worthy.

The show field led me to do some research on opium/heroin production which led me to the conclusion that there's no way a commercial poppy farm making him that much product would be possible in the lower 48. It's massively labor intensive and would need to be absolutely huge land wise. No way.

I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt on this because of his use of power over people he probably has other peoples land under his command and working for them on the side to support his product.

I like it. I though the flashback episode would have been better conveyed throughout the earlier episodes.
