I just checked the bottles. They are already clear with a layer of cider stuff at the bottom. At least I should be able to pour nice looking meads. If I give away a bottle, I will have to give them the "Let them sit in the back of the fridge and pour carefully..."It is a shame, if I thought about the cider residue, I could have easily siphoned and avoid that stuff. Also a moderate use of a filter probably would have very effective.Either way, I am not worried about flavor.Yeah, when I tried yours today, I was very surprised with it. Pretty damn smooth for what it is. I think another year could do magic though. But, when you do get it on tap, I will be loving it.You are probably going to get less throwing for another 6 months to a year, in my experience. You can't avoid sediment in the bottle at this young.

It's at 13 Brix (1.005 OG). Nice flavor, but some harshness (I think it's an alcohol harshness). Planning on bottling in the next few days.4 months late isn't that late to start in on a group brew, is it? :wub:9 lbs honeyJuice: 1 gallon was pure Gravenstien, 1 gallon was pure Gala, and the other 2 an unfiltered mix.No spices.29.8 brix (1.128 OG)71B.

A case of 12oz bottles of this got placed in a hard to reach location at the old house. Now that I've moved, it's easier to get to. ZOMG good.
