4-6 T Bone lamb chops

1/4 c olive oil

14 oz can diced tomatoes

8 oz can tomato sauce

1 1/2 TBL Cavender's Greek Seasoning

1 c fried parsley

1 TBL cinnamon

1/2 c burgandy wine

Coat chops with seasoning and brown in pan with olive oil.  Remove chops, add remaining ingredients.  Stir for 10 minutes on medium heat.  Return chops, spoon on sauce to cover chops.  Cover and simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours, rotating chops.

Wow, that is a lot of cinnamon. Not overpowering? Seems like that would suck the water out of your tongue.

Think of it as a mulled wine tomato sauce.

Some of the best lamp chops I get are down in Greektown in Detroit.  They are simply seasoned and grilled or broiled.  No sauce.  This looks interesting, though,.
