I use a company called GPS solutions; I can see all movements including speed, how long they stopped, etc. It will also send alerts if a vehicle is going over a certain speed, being used off hours, etc

I can also keep an eye on my sales people and make sure they are not GoldBricking. I have a salesgirl that has been slacking, and I notice she is not leaving home till after 9-9:30 most days. Not only have we talked about this, I have documented times. So when she gets the axe this week or next I'll have evidence of her sloth.

Hiller would be proud

When the kid was 16-18 I had a Mobile Asset Solutions MASTrack OBDII device plugged into the Honda. Cost depends on report frequency. I paid for reports every 2 minutes but in retrospect I would go 5 minute in future. Every event is logged regardless of regular report frequency. Might reactivate and plug into MIL's car JIC.

Yessir.

I ship most of my products via 18 wheeler. If I have a customer call and say" Mexas, where's muh shit?" I can log in and tell my customer exactly how far away their load is. And I don't have to call/bother the driver where they are driving.

Crazy that they can do all of that so cheap. Do you need a separate data plan for each device?

I think it's free for a year and then $20/mo

I've got one guy that usually comes in late and leaves early.

I'm going to use his as a timeclock and he'll be paying off the expenses of having these lol
