Anyone ever blend US-05 and S-04?

Won't hurt, but the results will be unpredictable.  There's no way of knowing which will dominate.  OTOH, they're close enough that it probably doesn't matter.

Didn't White Labs have a temporary strain that was WLP001 + WLP002 (American mixed with English)? I can't see how it could be an issue. I like neutral ale strains generally and I like a lot of English, Irish, Scottish, etc. because they're just slightly different than neutral American strains. You might be onto something, JKor.

There you go. I thought it might be WLP001 + WLP002 = WLP003 but that would be incorrect. :P So JKor is making his own WLP200. Keep us posted JKor.

The blend of 3 parts US-05 to 2 parts S-04 seems to be fermenting away quite nicely.

Beer will be had!
