Well, as my first post on here, I thought I would let you know about our upcoming competition in Savannah.The Bay Street Bash homebrew competition will be held on Saturday, November 14. Entries will be received from October 15 – November 4. The competition will include all beer and cider categories, Styles 1-23, 27-28 (we hold a separate mead-only competition in February so plan to enter it as well). As in the past, the winning Best of Show beer will be “guest-brewed” and put on tap at Moon River Brewing Company in addition to other prizes, ribbons and accolades bestowed upon all the winners.As with last year, we will plan to have a drop-offs at local homebrew shops in Atlanta GA, Columbia SC and Jacksonville FL.We also need certified judges. Once again, we will have a few tickets available for the Roundhouse Blues & BBQ event for those out-of-towners who can help us out on a first-come first-served basis. The Bash has a new venue this year: at The Distillery, 416 West Liberty Street, downtown and near the Roundhouse and all the other action. Results are now posted for the 2009 Bay Street Bash. Use the following link:https://sbl.homebrewcomp.com/welcome.php or to to the Savannah Brewers League website and follow the links there.To check for individual entry results, please use your email address and brewer number. Individual evaluation forms/score sheets will be available soon on the website for download and printing. Emails will be sent to entrants once they are uploaded.

Woah! It's gotten way bigger since the last time I put in an entry. Good deal!

Yes, Steve, it has gotten bigger. Had 234 entries this year, up a little over last.Not sure if you're in the sand or in town right now, but you should come to a meeting if you're around and definitely should enters some beers in the Bash next year.
