I won 8oz of this hop and was wondering if anyone had any info on it,  have you used it and what do you think.

Was looking more for personal impressions of people who used it.

I have never used it but have had beers that used it. It's tropical with pineapple and orange notes.

Sounds horrible, better send it to needles for hop trial batches.

Lots of pear with some background tangerine notes.  General consensus is that it isn't "forward" enough to use in IPA, but great for APA.  Don't know if I agree with that, but that's what some say.

Denny are you saying that those fruit flavors are too subtle and some other citrusy or piney hop may overpower those flavors in an IPA?

Well, that's not my assessment, but people on the AHA forum were kinda saying they didn't find them "strong" enough for an IPA.  I thought they worked well, but I've only used them once so far.

I have had them in an IPA along with Mosaic and Citra which was nice.
