Sounds good! I'd love to have some real heavy hitting crunchy ass distortion too, I guess I would also need a pedal for that and other effects? Maybe that is where my Digitech RP300 comes in?

Nah, I didn't want that much gain really. I have my Line6 for that.

fair point. easy to add distortion, a bit tougher to remove it once its there

Yup, I was browsing amps last Sunday and it came down to this rig or a Vox AC10. I'm happy with this buy...

i like the vox stuff, a unique sound for sure, just not quite my thing, but I bet you could tweak it to get it there.

I had a Vox AD50VT once and liked it a lot until I blew out the preamp circuit in it. Guitar Center replaced it but I immediately traded it on that Fender Frontman 212.
