I have an Enolmatic bottle filler I use for wine that fills from the top of the bottle. I've seen very strong opinions on other boards about using an enolmatic for beer because of the air exposure; it creates a vacuum (difference in preasure, not lack of air) in the bottle and drops the liquid into the bottle from the top as opposed to a racking cane or tube placed at the bottom. Does anyone use it for beer and have practical experiences? Does it raise the risk or is it for sure a death sentence for beer? Thanks?

I would expect that the vacuum in the bottle would assist in the release of CO2 from the beer, making it, well maybe not flat, but less carbonated. In addition, the beer will become less stable due to slight oxidation.Of course if you are bottling from primary/secondary/bottling bucket, then the beer is already flat so that part wouldn't matter.
