Flying down to CLT on Thursday and spending the night out there. Driving over to Morganton on Friday to hit Catawba Valley Brewing. Then the main event on Saturday. I'm pumped!

it is really interesting that over the years the sign has become some kind of icon or attraction. ppl we don't know drop by and ask if they can have their picture taken with the sign. we think it's pretty neat but are curious as to random unknown ppl wanting to use our sign as a backdrop. we do not discourage it tho - and actually encourage it.

Awesome to see you and to meet realbeerguy. I'll post some pics in the PH under a new Brewgrass thread. I'm going to the Asheville Oktoberfest (same day as Charlotte's) and I am planning on attending the new springbeer festival. Last year there was a Winter Warmer downtown. Man, my wife is gonna kill me with all these beer festivals! :wub:Oh yeah, my after party was getting my son to go to bed so I could have a few more! Was the after party at the Renaissance Hotel again?

realbeerguy, if we get a chance to make of off of Tybee Island and into Savannah, I will give you a heads up and maybe we can meet at Moon River. I'll try to plan for Saturday afternoon, but I might not get away. A bunch of us from college are renting a house for that weekend, so I am sure its gonna get a little crazy!
