I'm looking to buy one for my shop.  Not sure if I should go new or used.

Would you buy a used one?  Check this out.  I found it on craisglist and a few email responses.

"I got it back in 2008. I haven't been able to drink beer since 2009 so we used it as a standing fridge for a while but it has been dormant for the past three years here in Asheville."

You could get a new one for that price but wouldn't have the extras. It might be a time bomb.

Home Depot had Igloo kegerators on sale for around $300 a few months ago.  I would put $200 in his hand and say sold. (as long as it runs)

The igloos will probably need a new thermostat within a year. I bought one to mod into my kegerator because it was cheap.

Look at it like this, would you buy a used kitchen refrigerator from someone that was that old and hasn't been plugged up in a while?   I"m guessing no.

But you are talking to the king of cheap.....so if I could get a good price on it, maybe.   I probably wouldn't pay that guy more than 150.
