I just put a dart board up in my garage. Steel tips, I'm using the darts that came with the board. I joined a work tourney team as a pure amateur last year and had a blast, I want to get a little better. It's like my golf game - good enough to get excited, then shitty for the rest of the time.

Throwing darts for 15 minutes a day for a month gets you decent enough to to look like you know what you are doing.

But I am more likely to practice foosball than darts

I have a dartboard downstairs but I haven't thrown in about a year due to home improvement projects. Think I might need to move it to a more accessible location.

For me if I had the choice, it'd be pool. In my 20s my roommates and I used to have a full size pool table in the garage. We played every day during the week and then we would go to the bars with 3/4 size tables and it was sooooo easy to run the table.

Yep I had a table growing up until I was 17. Then we played almost every day in Navy schooling at the eclub. Had a nice McDermott stick then too. Now I just think I can do way more than I really can.

If you have a table at home it’s a huge advantage

We have both a pool table and an electronic dart board. Mostly Mico and his girlfriend play....until I have some friends over for a good runk.

Pool tables and darts are nice because 1 person can practice pretty easily. Plus if you go out you have a better chance of getting to play. But pool takes up a lot of space.

Without it, my son would not know where to put his trumpet, mellophone, and french horn.

Yeah. I'd live to have another pool table but there's only one room in my house where it would really fit and you would have to make that room 100% dedicated to it which isn't an option right now

Kids and "adult time" often interfere.

Haven't used the pool table for that yet, either.

I use our table a couple times per month, it was a decent investment for us tho nowhere to put it at the new place yet
